Anyone with Lyme have a breast marker clip from a biopsy?

I need a breast biopsy and the standard procedure is to leave a small titanium marker clip in the breast.
I really don't want this. Wondering if anyone has one and if its been okay. I'm thinking inflammation and biofilms could be an issue...

Thanks jrpsf. I assume no pain either? I have heard they often cause pain; I am petite all the way around and am concerned and of course most accounts online are the negative ones mentioning severe issues with these clips. Were you symptomatic when it was put in? My lyme doctor mentioned taking extra biofilm busters for a while. Thanks for your reply.

sunny-I had mine inserted a few years before I was bite. I haven't had any issues at all.

Sunny, I had clips put in both breasts over 10 yrs ago. Long before I ever knew I had Lyme. I had no issues with recovery or pain in any way. Try not to let it worry you. The only thing I can say is sometimes they itch.....but maybe it's the Lyme in the scar tissue...

Anyone else? LLMD says to avoid having this left in. So confusing and not looking to complicate things but can't ignore the breast lump either.
