Lyme Disease Bloodwork - daughter diagnosed 10/2014 bloodwork shows lyme in 2009

Hi. I have questions about bloodwork for my now 12 year old daughter. I went to our pediatrician today to pick up ALL of the bloodwork we have ever done. We never did the Igenix testing. Her bloodwork was done at LabCorp. We never heard of Igenix until she got the lyme diagnosis in 2014. My husband and I feel like our daughter still is not well and feel like we were treating our daughter for lyme assuming she was just diagnosed in October of 2014. So I went back to all of the lab reports since 2009 when my daughter started to complain about stomach pain. We never got copies of the lab work because the doctor would just call and say everything came back normal on the bloodwork. So as I sit here looking through the labs I am wondering if my daughter actually had lyme in 2009 and not when we first found on in 2014. She still doesn't feel great. Always complaining about her stomach hurting and suffers from anxiety. Here is all the labwork I have. Can anyone help me figure out what I should do and what all this means? I am so upset that my daughter had to suffer for so long if we should have treated her so many years ago. It's been a very long haul for her emotionally and physically. Any help is greatly appreciated!

It really doesn't matter how long ago. All it will do is give you guilt and that is not healthy for you or your daughter. So forget about that!

Now, on to treatment.

You have choices and so very many. Most go the route of a lyme literate doctor and see what he says. You just listen and ask those questions that you have pre-written down. He very possibly will give you prescriptions. You can go home and research before you fill those and pay for them. A lyme doctor can be pricey but it is nice to talk to someone with expertise in lyme. You will know at the end of the visit if this is the doc for you. You can ask hm about all the alternatives he has ever used. How many cases of lyme has he handled and what were the outcomes.

This is not like a cold. It has been there for awhile and it will take awhile for her to get well. Anticipate the entire family getting healthy because of the healthy diet you all will embark on.

Detox is great for everyone in the family. A pitcher of lemon water ice cold in the fridge, tons of snack veggies cut up. yummmmmm It can be a fun adventure if you turn the heads of everyone in that direction. Parents are good at this. Like Mary Poppins - snap- and it's a game!

And most importantly, things will get better. Patience is the word for all involved. Slow and steady wins this race.
