I just received by results and I am pretty sure its a positive. I thought I could figurer out what it all means but I need help.

This one said Igenix posit
CDC negative

I have to say I am relieved...and frightened. The retired Dr. I have been talking to wants me to go to my general Dr. but he has already poo poo'd Lyme in Iowa. I know it will take me a long time to find a good LLMD. And then longer to get in.

Those + mean positive and it takes 5 to be CDC positive. I only had 2 and believe me, I have lyme. But as far as statistics go I am not counted on the CDC's blackboard.

You definitely have lyme.

You are Igenex Positive IGM because of bands 34++ and 41+


PeteZa - Has the CDC criteria changed for the IGM?

in June, 2014, it was two positive bands out of 23-25, 39, 41 = CDC positive.


But IGG was five positive bands out of a longer list.

IgM WB is 2 for CDC
IgG WB is 5 for CDC.

Sorry I did get it reversed.

I agree, that's more than enough evidence of exposure to Lyme and you should get treatment.

Remember, you can always start detoxing and using an herbal protocol while you are looking for a LLMD!

Thank you all. That is what I thought. I looked at the info suggested and some of the positives are lyme specific so I am going to get Buhners Book, continue on the detox and look for a LLMD to consult with. I do feel positive about finding out what is wrong. Not happy I have Lyme but now that I know who the enemy is I can confront him!
