If you all don't mind, since I have been talking to IHL daily for over a year now (
) I know pretty much what she's done and tried and what's happening, so I'll answer what I can so that she can save her strength.
Bluelyme, I know that she has tried
many different modalities - even several at the same time, as well as one at a time - for trying to treat these infections - but like she said, it's the toxins that get released that make her MCAD flare really bad, so it's not that she can't tolerate treatments, but that her body simply won't tolerate the toxins, even with very heavy detoxing schedules. You better believe that I've ridden her kind of hard (she'll laugh at this) about
making sure she's detoxing LOTS!!!
I'm just on the side lines, but I've been very scared for her many, many times during the time that I have been talking with her. Fortunately, IHL is an amazing lady- strong, resilient, and determined to survive this to see her precious child grow up.
And thank you for your kind words - you both are much too kind.
I'm just a cheerleader, IHL is doing all the work.
Oh, and I don't want to leave out that her doctor really is working overtime on her case!! He's never given up on her and is always talking with many other LLMD's to see if he can glean more information or get a hint of something else to try without making her worse. He's been incredibly responsive and kind to her. If only all LLMD's were this way!!!
