Welcome CelticAmena!
Sorry for the reason you're here but glad you found us!
Lyme is famous for attacking the bladder....and we need more than doxycycline to heal from it. I'm glad you're seeking the help of a Lyme-literate practitioner.
I edited your post only to add your request for a doctor in the title to attract the attention of those who may help.
Here are a couple of resources to help with the LLMD search:
/sites.google.com/site/lymedoctors/north-carolinailads.org/ilads_media/physician-referral/And, to find a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) doctor:
mx.nccaom.org/FindAPractitioner.aspxMost importantly, I hope you read through our "New to Lyme? Start Here!" thread that sits at the top of the forum. It's filled with useful information you'll return to time and time again.
And, to help you feel better, I hope you consider starting a daily detoxing protocol. You see, all the while we've been sick, the bugs have been going through their life cycles which means they are releasing toxins which worsen when they die (dead bug parts are more toxic than the toxins the bugs release).
The average American is exposed to over 300 chemicals per day (think personal care products, plastics, car/truck exhaust, etc.) and our bodies are already working overtime to clear those toxins.
To help the body clear the toxins of everyday life along with the huge toxin burden caused by these infections, a detoxing protocol is vital.
The site I'm linking below has some great suggestions for detoxing methods:
