Went and bought cats claw, source naturals brand 1000mg. I was hoping it would help inflammation. I took half a tablet. Now im reading more about it, and I see people were herxing bad on it at times. I have anxiety now, I dont wanna freak out. Whats the worst it can do to me?...lol.

I never had a herx on it, so do not borrow trouble. I hope you don't. Just because someone else does, you may not. Let's hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.

DETOX! Get that lemon water in you. Dry brush. After your hot shower put it on cold for a few minutes.


Good peaceful sleep and a good diet. No junk!

Thanks PeteZa! I dont seem to do well on a lot of supplements or herbs, and even abx. So im always worried what will happen. Going to go lay in some epsom for a couple minutes before I go to bed. Hopefully my stomach can handle this. Thanks!

My thought is it wouldn't help with inflammation. Remember, it's a natural antibiotic so it's going to potentially increase inflammation as your body surge attacks the Lyme. I personally didn't herx on cats claw st all, but I wouldn't freak out. if you sense a strongHerx coming on you can quickly scale back on any herbs you are taking.

Thanks. Boy I dont know if it was the cats claw or not, but For the first time in almost 2 years, since the doc tried me on PPIs thinking this was partially GERD, I woke up choking on acid. I didnt eat anything different, or late, so I think it was the cats claw. Maybe ill try it again tonight, but wow do I ever hate that!

Are you taking Cats Claw as part of Buhners? If so you should read up on his more recent protocol which includes both types of Cats Calw (tormentossa and rhynchophyla).

Just a suggestion :)

Did you take the Cats Claw before eating, or after? Also are you taking the Source Naturals brand with other supplements in it (the immune defense one), or only Cat's Claw? I ask because it could also be one of the other ingredients in it that could be causing a reaction?? The one I got from source naturals when Raintree were out of stock had a boat load of other (all good, lol) stuff in too.

Just regular cats claw. I took it right after eating. Not part of a protocol. Sorry to be so short, family emergency today.
