So I ramped up in a few days to Buhner's full Bart protocol and the biggest complaint was my already racing heart was worse and non-stop throughout the day so i had to back down. I know people warned me but I wanted to throw the kitchen sink at it and see what happened.
I wanted to understand more what each herb did so posted below. Most do other things but the main driver was what I found in Buhner's Bart book. I backed off to 10 drops for the antibacterial/microbial herbs and went higher on those that reduce the Cytokine "cascade". Buhner actually recommends retarding this process and not even taking antibacterials to get well but I'd like to do both.
Had a better 'heart racing' day today than in a few weeks so maybe I'm onto something. Going to add 10 drops of cryptolepis and cats claw 3x/day shortly as well. I'd rather get more types of herbs in the system at lower doses than higher to prevent bug resistance. I know I'm on a lot and tough to tell what is working on what but plan on keeping on this protocol for a few months and see what happens. Will keep everyone posted.
