Mixing herbs in same tincture?

I'm going on a trip and don't want to bring 10 tinctures. Any problem with mixing a few together into less bottles? I basically take it this way in water so not sure its a problem but who knows if they're sitting for a while in the same bottle. Thanks.

I think it should be okay. I did do it once...but I was only gone for one night, so they weren't mixed together for very long.

Hopefully others will chime in.

I have done it a lot. But, for like a lunch and then a dinner meeting. So I put all the herbs in one bottle and then just put that in a glass of water and chugged it for lunch. Then for dinner I did the other bottle. I was fine doing it for those 2 dosages. I have never done it for a couple of days, but I don't see how it would hurt since they have alcohol in them and are self preserving. Nothing to get stale.

I just thought of something - Woodland Essence - they blend three together to make the C.S.A. (Crypto, Sida, Alchornea..) together...so don't see why you can't do the same...blend them...

In his book and the website, Buhner mentions that is ok to mix them together.

Depends on what you're wanting to mix.

I mix the following i one cocktail every day: milk thistle seed, burdock root, bur bur, parsley and pinella. But I take japonese knotweed by itself with at least a 15 mi. buffer.

But my LLMD warned me not to take Byron White A-L Complex, A-Bart and A-Bab formulas closer than 15 minutes from ea other or any other tincture/herb and preferred 30, much less mix together. I'd check w/ your LLMD or maybe call customer service?

I think this is because the BW remedies are homeopathic as well as herbal and really should be taken alone because mixing will change the energetic imprints.

A 15 minute buffer won't do much for swallowed preparations (as opposed to those absorbed across the buccal mucosa); they will mix in the stomach anyway.

Buhner does say that all of the herbal tinctures/infusions etc. can be taken together.

And this is what I did. I mixed all the Buhner herbs together but kept the Beyond Balance herbs separate. Buhner being alcohol based and BB being being glycerine based.

I think Ricky is wondering if they can be mixed together for longer periods - not just prior to taking them...but perhaps several days.

I can't see why it would be an issue...though.

--Yeah, this was back when I had so little room in my schedule where I was taking something every half hour that there was no other way to fit them all in. But she assured me I was getting some benefit. I'm not doing that anymore and it was a little off topic so I probably shouldn't have included that since the answer to the OP's question is these particular tinctures shouldn't be combined at all.

Not off topic at all. Many here are using the homeopathic herbal tinctures and need to know the difference between those and the regular herbal tinctures.
