My Lyme test results only show band 41 and 45. I was actually hoping that I would have a diagnoses. I'm starting to think it could end up being something else like ALS now because there is Muscle Loss in my left calf where most of the fasiculations are coming from. 95% of them now seemed to be confined to the calf. I feel more in the hamstring too on that same leg.

I'm going to become freaked out by this now. I couldn't sleep before, now it's going to get really bad for me.

jack - Please realize that these tests are inaccurate - very high false negative rate.

This is what I have found on band 45:

45 cross-reactive for all Borellia (sometimes people with Lyme who have
this band positive also have the co-infection Ehrlichiosis)

You have symptoms consistent with lyme, correct? Remember - it's a clinical diagnosis.

Are you seeing a Lyme Literate Dr.? If not, please do.

Ehrlichiosis came up negative too.

It's weird that I keep getting all of these pains all over. My right thigh feels like it was punched. I'm continually have neck pains. And my upper back behind my head always seems to have pains. Sometimes burning and sometimes stabbing.

My first test only showed bands 41 & 66, LLMD said not to rule out Lyme cause I was symptomatic. After starting treatment, 2 more bands showed. LLMD also told me that the co-infection tests are more inaccurate than the Lyme tests. As Girlie said, seek an LLMD

I can only echo what previous posters have said.

Please know that Lyme suppresses the immune system.

Well, the Western Blot test measures antibody response. How can a suppressed immune system be expected to mount an antibody response?

If you watched noted LLMD Dr. Horowitz during his presentation on last week's Lyme Summit, you heard him say that any Lyme-specific band + symptoms = Lyme....no question about it.

Yes dontlose hope. I have 0 positive bandsat this time but with history of tick bite with a rash and by symptoms my llmd has diagnosed me with Lyme's Bartonella and erlichiosis. He says we will retest in 2 months after treatment and he fully expects to see a positive result but I have had very similar experience as you with symptoms and they have started to get better after 1 month on abx my llmd says it will take months to years to recover but he fully expects me to!!
