1. Is the general rule of thumb that it's okay to mix the Nutramedix herbs in one glass of water together? (I'm only trying Pinella, BurBur, and Stevia at this time, but I'm not confident on what I can mix together.)
As of right now, you can mix what's being taken in one glass of water. Here's a link to the Nutramedix Product Compatibility Chart since some herbs cannot be taken together:

2. My son has a really difficult time taking the Stevia in the water. What are the effects with mixing in diluted, small amount of juice instead of water? I realize water is best, but does diluted juice somehow negate the herb/plant? Is it (any Nutramedix tincture) still worth taking in small, diluted juice (just to get it down)?
Juice is fine and an herb that will be effective can be effective in small doses....it "just" takes longer.

3. I read that you can't use distilled water or RO water. We have RO water. Why can't we use in RO water? Should we use tap water? I really don't want to use tap water (our city water isn't good). Any other options? Any thoughts on that?
The reason why advice is against RO water and distilled water is because both forms are depleted of minerals. Anyone who drinks RO water regularly is at risk of having the body's minerals leach out. If you are replacing the minerals in your RO water, then you're fine.

4. For kid's dosage, if you have a kid about 1/2 the size of an adult, do you just do half the dosage?
Everyone should start out with one drop of one herb and then hold for 4-7 days to gauge response. Then, introduce 1 drop of the next herb and do the same. Wash/rinse/repeat until all herbs are started and then slowly increase in the same manner until the point of herxing. At that point, you go back to the "pre-herx" dose and try increasing at a later date.
I don't know what the ultimate recommended doses are for children. I know when I followed the full Cowden protocol, I was taking 30 drops 2x daily of two different herbs at any given time.
Buhner shows children's doses on the right side of his website that I'm linking here:

5. If you are working up on the Cowden Protocol, how do you follow the schedule if you aren't doing full dosages? Do you not follow the daily chart that's on the website? Do you somehow extend a month because you didn't do full drops? Just curious how you accommodate a gradual building up into their recommended schedule?
I couldn't find any instructions along these lines and I knew enough to slowly titrate the doses based upon what members reported on here. I had my worst-ever herx on 3 drops each of Samento and Banderol.
I started following the schedule once I got up to full doses.

6. Do you do these on an empty stomach? Do you space others supplements away from these?
Here's a link to the Cowden schedule that includes instructions:
www.nutramedix.ec/ns/images/stories/CSP01282016Schedule.pdfAs you can see, dosing is 1/2 hr. before breakfast, lunch, dinner and at bedtime.
And, the protocol calls for Magnesium and Serrapeptase dosing at the same time as some of the herbal doses.
I still take any other supplements away from my herb doses.
Hope this helps.
