Hi waterlilyrose,
I had posted in your first thread, asking about
your treatments. From what I read, it didn't seem as if you were getting the right treatment for Lyme, although I could have misunderstood. Are you still using the same treatment, or have you found something else?
Effective treatment, good detoxing practices, and effective supportive therapy are the only things that will help Lyme.
I know very, very little about
spondylitis, other than it can be a misdiagnosis for Lyme, so you will have to determine if you can use some of the suggestions below or if it will negatively affect the spondylitis.
Lyme pain is often due to inflammation, since Lyme is an inflammatory infection, meaning the inflammation is in between our cells, not just in our joints and such. Often things that simply reduce inflammation will reduce pain. I've had great success in using turmeric and ginger, although I did have to use things like Boswellin and other things as well at first. Or you can see if you can get a MD to prescribe pharma anti-inflammatories - just protect your stomach and liver if you use them. Turmeric actually helps protect and regenerate the liver and other things, which is why I choose to use it.
Acupuncture was really amazingly effective at helping lower my pain levels.
I would agree with PeteZa about
going ahead and sitting out in the sun for shorter periods of time. You surely don't need to be sunburned on top of the way you are feeling already!
I also completely agree with PeteZa about
just spending time with your daughter. My now adult kids have told me for a very long time, that what meant the most and made the biggest difference in their life was not that they didn't get to go places and have things, but that I spent time with them. I was sick the whole time there were living at home, so I couldn't do much of anything with them, but I could listen, read, be near and watch them play and just be there with them as they went through life and so that's what I did. And that's what they thank me for still today - and they are both now in their 30's.
Here's something else that might be of help:
