Bartonella, Lyme, Babesia Symptoms? INPUT

My symptoms for the past month include feet pain, big toe throbbing and aches, joint aches in extremities, shortness of breath, crawling like sensation on scalp, sharp nerve pain on head and chest, severe concentration and vision problems, prickly pink rash over body, anxiety, panic and elevated fight or flight.

I had to drop out of school and take time off work because these symptoms are too much to bare. I'm wondering what infection most closely resembles these symptoms? I know there's a lot of overlapping symptoms when it comes to Lyme and coinfections.

Well I was diagnosed with Lyme, Bart and Babesia, I'm just wondering where these new symptoms are coming from. I also thought it was Bart but I never had those purple stretch marks.

Not everyone gets the purple stretch mark rashes, and even people who do, have them come and go. Would you describe your shortness of breath as more like you can't catch your breath, or like air hunger, where you feel like you need to take deep breaths for no reason. I guess that's basically the same thing, but when I had air hunger it wasn't like asthma, but more like I just went up a flight of stairs.

I could be wrong, but I believe foot pain leans towards Bart, and I've heart some doctors say that eye problems tend to lean more towards Bart as well.

My shortness of breath is sometimes unconscious. I'll unconsciously be breathing and then I'll notice consciously that I'm breathing short and sometimes I won't breath at all. Like I'll hold my breath.Yes, air hunger!! Like it feels like I'm out of breath and need more air, I'll get mentally drained and it feels like I ran a marathon when I didn't.

It doesn't feel like asthma. It is really hard to describe.

I believe a lot of symptoms along those lines are actually from anemia. Anemia can be caused by a lot of things, but more severely from blood parasites such as Babesia. Although, the way I understand it, any chronic infection can cause anemia. Have you ever been tested for Anemia, iron or otherwise? Also, by any chance do you have symptoms of Raynaud's (hands or feet that react severely to the cold, pale fingers with normal colored hands)?

I only asked about the Raynaud's because a lot of clinical studies are finding common cases with Raynaud's and Bart.

One theory, which I'm successfully treating myself, is that Bart adheres to your blood vessels. When your immune system attacks the Bart, it causes inflammation of those blood vessels. Your blood vessels help regulate blood flow, so when they are not acting properly, they have an over exaggerated response to hot and cold temperatures. This is why some people with Lupus have Raynaud's as well. It is also one theory as to how you can get POTS from such bacteria. When you stand, part of the way your body responds to the sudden drop in blood pressure is that your blood vessels constrict, raising your blood pressure. When they don't do that, your heart has to pump faster/harder to compensate.

This is all just my opinion of course.

When I was first diagnosed with Lyme, I only had it for about a month and the doctors treated it about as good as you can ever expect an infectious disease doctor to treat it. I had two weeks of Doxy, then a full month of IV abx. A lot of my Lyme symptoms vanished very early in treatment, such as Bells Palsy, bone pain at the infection site, etc...However, weeks later I got tons of symptoms that screamed either Bart or Babs. I had almost all of the exact same symptoms you did. I found an LLMD, and he put me on the abx, but not the right ones right away, and they did very little. When I decided to go with herbs, it only took a few weeks to notice a difference. If you can handle it, I'm a big fan of Sida Acuta. If you follow Buhner's at all, he uses Sida Acuta for several different co-infections.

Of course, you should follow your own path, but I wanted to share with you my experience, since I shared most of the symptoms you did.
