Be sure and take your medical records with you, especially if you have any records that show that you
deal with depression. I was able to get it, but it was before I knew I had Lyme. I had a lot of
information with me for the 5 years of research which could find no reason for my difficulties. I also
asked my neurologist to confirm my inability to work due to a difficulty I have walking.
When I was interviewed by the agent for disability he asked me about my anti-depressants and said
that was often helpful to get on disability. Also a Lyme diagnoses doesn't always help because the
belief is that you can get better.
