While it's not as effective as in tincture form, but I love the way red root tastes when made into a tea! I don't know why, there's nothing particularly bold about the flavor. It's not sweet, not bitter, just something pleasant about it.
Though, not with the powder. The powder adds some off taste, which really makes me wonder if it is JUST the whole herb ground up, no filler. Maybe the powder is getting heated in ways that the cut form doesn't, burned even..
Anyway, I just wanted to comment on how much I like it as a tea. I can't speak on how much it's been doing for me other than that. I mean, it helps, but I would benefit a lot more from a tincture, if I could handle the alcohol.
Definitely one of those things that everyone should be on, whether they notice much or not, considering its price and the amount of people who do say that they benefit from it. That's saying you can use it as a tincture though. If not, I don't know. Still not that expensive, but is it all that effective is my concern, which goes without saying.. as I have made kinda obvious already..
Toodles..
