Samento/cats claw with antibiotics

I'm currently only taking bicillin injections due to severe GI issues. My doc says that he usually gives oral antibiotics along with bicillin but I can't take any. I asked about herbs and he said I could add samento.

Has anyone else done this, and if so did you have any success. Also is there a difference between samento and cats claw? Samento is much more expensive.

Cat's claw is a very important herb when treating Lyme (in reference to most herbal protocols). The main difference between that and Samento, is that Cat's Claw has TOAs, which there was some controversy about in the past that has been proven false (the company that did this study only sold TOA free Cat's Claw, aka samento). In fact, they have been proven to be beneficial in treatment.

IMO, stick with the Cat's Claw AND save yourself money.

Does anyone know what form of lyme cats claw targets (spirochete, cyst...) ? Or if it also hits co-infections?

The only cyst busters i know are grapeseed extract but i heard it only works in the gut...the others are bee venom ,flagle ,tinidazole, alinia ,and plaquinil. .project is expermenting with ultrasound ..and some say mms but if your tummy is off maybe bvt or rife ?

Cat's Claw is used as an immune remodulation. What that means is if your immune system is down it will bring it up and if it is up, it will bring it down. It balances it out.

Fair enough, does anyone recommend a certain brand? Some have different parts of the bark?

My doc recommended nutramedix but they only make samento.

I like to stick to Buhner's recommended brands for my herbs.

i've used Green Dragon Botanicals (capsules), Woodland Essence (tinctures) and Sage Woman herbs (tinctures)

Look into Woodland Essence JK Plus. It has Cat's Claw and a handful of other tinctures mixed into one, really helps save some $$$.
