Immune system able to keep bugs in check?

It probably has something to do with the window of time the body needs to create the correct and necessary antibodies. During that time of multiple days to multiple weeks, lyme and co moves away from the blood stream into the bone, tissue, and muscles.

It's why abx is needed if you know you have been bitten right off the bat (and this is true with any type of bacteria infection). However other less sophisticated bacteria aren't going to hide or create biofilms, so by the time the body has produced an adequate amount of antibodies the immune system eventually "takes care of it".

With the proper antibodies in place I believe the immune system can do it's job when lyme and co come back out to the bloodstream every 2-3 weeks to try and reproduce. It's why getting over lyme is lengthy because abx and the immune system have to wait for these cycles.

Obviously I'm not a doctor/biologist/scientist. Just connecting logical dots from the all the facts that I do know about lyme and co.

For example, I get bit April 29th (thought it was a spider or flea bite) and not one symptom until June about 23rd. I get antibiotics for a little over a month - Zpac then Ceftin and Biaxin. Then I start Beyond Balance and then Buhners. I never have a herx???? By March I feel well????? Why did I have an easier time than the person that got bit and the very next day went on antibiotics, did a lot of antibiotics, did an herbal protocol and then another herbal protocol and is still having symptoms?

Lyme makes no sense!

I suspect that my lifestyle pre-lyme has a lot to do with it. I was detoxing way before lyme. For years I have been extremely anti chemicals in our house, except for real smells, like essential oils). We have eaten organic for many years and very healthy home meals. My husband has NEVER had a soda. I am not lily pure, I love my glass of wine with dinner. And I used to be able to sit and eat a pint of ice cream. Lyme did cure me of that! And no cookies - lyme decided to make those nauseous to me.

I can feel lyme is still in my body and it would not take much for it to raise its ugly head. I am doing maintenance doses of herbs still and probably will do so for a long time. I keep stress out of my life as much as I can. I rest when I am tired. I do what I can do and no more. I baby myself for my health's sake.

But why did I have an easier time than others?

From what I've read the tick's saliva is immunosuppressive to prevent the body from shutting off the blood supply to it. So Borrelia & co take advantage of this window to establish themselves in the body.

Few questions and a observation..
If one is asymptomatic does that mean they are lyme free? What if herbs and bee venom only mask symptoms...if ones immune system could check it would we be sicknin the first place ..i agree with trav i put up a heck of a fight for 12 or 30 years or however long i have had it.
also if hpylori can come from food or saliva then what makes people think borrelia is any different(infected cows)milk /medium st8k) .also syphilis and sex or congenital transmission.when mosquitos infect everyone we are going to be to zombied to figued it out ..maybe thats why cdc id ducs are so stupid already. .and they say they are not symptomatic.ha
i have seen a spirochette come out of a red blood cell i see it in my t cells moving replicating .look on you toob there is video footage of them coming out of white blood cells!...immune system for strep staph viruses you already have ,yes needs building to keep in check but borreliosis, cpn ,mycoplasma, fl1953 ,bart and babs,why do old people get shingles ? Isnt immune system fighting ..hmmmm...these are super super bugs...22 peptides and a efflux pump. Did you hear lyme summit strep has 4...and they talk quorum...cross exchange dna and then there is biofilm .throw everything in the book at it .mhbot ,bvt ,herbs ,abx ,silver ,photons ,frequency. ..throw the book.

I think you are on the right track. There's many other things that have to be dealt with and nurse back to health simultaneously. You can't just take abx and that's it.

So people that take abx early but don't address other aspects of health (and the damage lyme causes), struggle way more on average.

Though I'm not 100%, I went from 0% to 85% in a few months. I want to credit the full regime I had going on other than just abx. Strict diet, vitamins and supp, and gut health. I believe diet and gut health is a huge missing link for a lot of lymies that are ignorant to the subject.

They just follow the doctors plan of abx, abx, and more abx.

Abx is like carpet bombing your body. Yes it kills the bacteria and that's good but then you have to help your body clean up the mess. Like the Marshall Plan after WW2 to use an analogy. Yes the lyme is gone but now you have to this rubble of a body that the lyme and abx left behind.

I never have believed there is any rhyme or reason to lyme disease and I still do not.

I do not think it is going to be figured out in my lifetime either.

It is the weirdest disease I have ever read about or known anyone to have.

Totally unpredictable and how or why we heal is a mystery. You can do all the right things and not get better, you can do all the wrong things and get better????

I just do not get it.
