The last few months I've been doing this
natural protocol I found;




I really like it so far because
it addresses all bacteria as
well as viruses, fungi, parasites etc...
It's different, thorough and, yes, I'm herxing
which tells me it's getting rid of stuff
my other therapies didn't touch.

Anyone have any experience?

article and take it slower than I thought

That idea piqued my curiosity so I did a bit more digging.

It seems he was somewhat misquoting this paper:

Nanobacteria: An alternative mechanism for pathogenic intra- and extracellular calcification and stone formation

The paper only mentions Bartonella as potentially related to the nanobacteria which it implicates in the calcification.

It turns out later research showed that these "nanobacteria" were actually just calcium crystals and not alive (and hence not related to Bartonella at all)

Overall the protocol seemed like it could work to clear out infections though. Oregano oil is powerful stuff as is colloidal silver, MSM does help cells to detox. But I think the author is justifying it based on a misinterpretation of already disproven science.

Agreed, Antonio. We should be able to discuss different protocols with out being attacked and verbally abused, especially the creator of one of them.

I'm not saying to not use it, and I wish the situation was different so that it could be discussed - but again, the 'creator' of that protocol refuses to allow that to happen.

And I did appreciate this person's research, until they turned nasty on the forum. To cuss someone for asking that they be nicer to the others asking reasonable questions isn't something we want in this community. I've checked with members from other Lyme forums as well, so far, they have been banned from nearly every one they joined for the same offenses. I don't think anyone wants to have unsolicited emails coming to them saying they will die if they don't use a specific protocol - it's just not something we need by the time we reach the point of finding a community that is helping us either.

We've tried a handful of ways to deal with this, and we are left with no other option but to ban the protocol from being discussed, because everything else that has been tried has ended with that person coming back and doing all those things again.

Plus, they stalked me personally online, posting some very rude comments every time they say where I had posted. I was still willing to let that go, if that person would have been better behaved. I feel very strongly that we need to know what all of our options for treatment are - but not at that price.

I'm really sorry that you feel that way, Project. Had you actually read my post about what happened, you would have seen that this member was not banned due to a personal reason. This is a private forum and we have all agreed to the rules.

They were not banned because they disagreed with something, and it has nothing to do with me, other than I was the "object" of attack. Admin saw when they told me to "F" off on this forum and banned them immediately. Believe me, anyone that uses that kind of language and does the things that that member did will be banned. This is a forum with rules that we have all agreed to when we joined. Those rules must be followed.

Telling someone to "F" off because they are asked to be nice to those asking questions is not free speech. That's being abusive. Neither is going "behind the lines" and joining the forum under a different profile, not posting on the forum, but sending threatening emails to the members. That is abusing the privileges of this forum and the privacy of the members.

And if you really feel that this forum is like a totalitarian regime, I'm not sure why you still post. The rules here were not set up by any of the mods, they were set up by Admin, and the Mods have to enforce them, or step down. Playing favorites will also get a Mod removed.

And then stated that we all have to follow the rules.

I'm sorry you feel threatened by that. That was not my intention, but you are wishing to stir up thing that happened years ago. Those decisions were not made by any mod, but by Admin who was fully aware of the entire situation and the full circumstances.

I'm not sure if you have ever been fully and undeniably attacked on a forum, then followed around the internet by the attacker or not, but I have, and it's not a pleasant thing - especially since I was only following the rules that were put in place by Admin and that I have to follow as well. Mods actually have more rules to follow than a "general" member.

So, if you have enough objections to no references of a banned user's research, please do email Admin. I'm sure that he will treat you fairly, but essentially tell you basically the same things I have. And that the forum members don't get to vote on rules/procedures that Admin put in place. He's the only one with a vote, not even mods get a say so.

Otherwise this discussion is over as I will no longer respond to questions/statements about the situation.
