Yes, it sounds like you're in the same situation that I'm in. I thought I had until September to treat this, but UI said time was up last week. So I'm forced back into work.
I think you're right about
the holy grail. I'll need to find a balance between working and Rifing. Maybe if I use it at a lower setting for awhile, or less time. Probably for the first month of work, I'll stop treatment altogether, and once I get settled in, I'll try to start it up again.
Given my strong reaction to Spooky, I wonder if Spooky is really all I need. Maybe I'll quit the abx. I don't like the idea of overusing abx anyway, and my LLMD is getting really expensive at 300 a visit. I think the Spooky makes me herx much harder than the abx does, and I bet the reason is because it's getting at the hidden reservoir of spyrochetes that the abx can't touch.
In Mass, which is where I'm from, they're trying to push a bill for lyme coverage via insurance companies. It's a step in the right direction, at least.
Project, when you use your Spooky with contact mode, do you hold the handles in your hands? That's what I did at first, but then the other night when I got hit hard with the herx, I had the handles in between my legs. Not sure if maybe switching the positions of the handles made me herx harder. Maybe there was a good sized reservoir in my legs or something. Who knows.
...
As a side note, I've decided my dead-end job is not going to cut it any longer, especially if I'm going to continue to need to deal with this disease. I think I'm getting forced into the need for "passive income" to supplement my need for more money. I'm looking into buying a rental property to get passive income flow. I'd imagine other lymies might need a source of passive income as well. ... I guess this is a tangent, but thought I'd mention it.
