how do you find LLMD

After a VERY frustrating Nuro appointment ( she ended by saying I should learn to "manage my stress" and we "all have our problems" after informing me she found nothing on the tests she took) I am determined to find a LLMD for testing for Lymes. Of course I'm not positive that is what I have but it is the only thing that makes sense to me.

My regular MD is amazing but we live in a pretty small town in VA and I'm pretty sure he just wouldn't know where to direct me at this point, We've already done the go to Lymes test (negative) and I've been thinking about buying the better test but we just don't have a lot of extra money right now, with all the MRIs etc I've already had.

I'm mostly at a loss as to what to do next, or how to find a reliable LLMD. Mostly I'm worried about getting snubbed, again. I've already been to two Nuros. I'm just frustrated!

I have not heard of anyone having a good experience with a Neurologist that has lyme. Mine told me Lyme did not give you a headache.

How to find a LLMD:

You can email the Tick-Borne Disease Alliance at [email protected] for LLMD referrals and you can go to tbdalliance.org to learn more about these infections.

You can go to The Lyme Disease Association and search for LLMD's 3 times in a month per email address. You have to register first. Here is the link:
