Yes. Don't underestimate a yeast herx with the nystatin either.

Herxing is like throwing up when you are really drunk/hungover. It sucks during it but you feel so much better when it's over and you are kind of "glad" it happened after its over.

It's essentially your body "throwing up".

This could also be combined with herxing from starting the flagyl as well. so detoxing becomes even more necessary. If you can't get the herxing under control soon, then it's always advised to reduce the dosages of your meds for a short time to help control the herxing, then slowly (while still keeping the herxing under control) raising your doses back up to therapeutic levels again.

I am on nystatin and a three day dose of flagyl this weekend as well. I feel like my old symptoms are coming back. Hopefully this is my bodies way of herxing!?

I like to think of the herxing of familiar symptoms as a a reminder of the symptoms that are soon-to-be a distant memory... ;)
