Sister has lost will to live, resisting food and drink

Girlie- Thanks so much for your help. We are very nervous about upping her overall dose. Today, we just gave her 1/4 of the .5 (so, .125) after she woke up (her mood is absolutely horrific first thing in the am--I think it's severe depression coupled with overwhelming anxiety). The reason we only did 1/4 at this point (instead of 1/2) is b/c we have never used this on her during the day and have no idea who it's going to affect her (we are afraid she's going to fall asleep on us). Then we are thinking that we might have to do another 1/4 later in the afternoon, with either 1/2 at night or 3/4 at night. If we do the 3/4 at night with the am 1/4 and afternoon 1/4, then we are going up by 1/4--not ideal, but may be our best option.

And, yes, the other complicating factor is the Trazodone. She was on that nightly for 5 months--We had no warning that if you took it regularly, you would go through withdrawal in getting off of it. And that one is worse, in that we had to do it cold turkey. Her worst symptom from that (the watery diarrhea) has healed up, but I'm sure there are lingering mood effects. We are going to have to find a psychiatrist to consult with. We'll probably generate a list of names today and start making phone calls. The problem w/that is that we are looking for someone who would do a consultation with my parents and not require my sister to be present (we will not be able to get her out of the house--she refuses to get in the car).

Whenever I have time, I'm going to try reading on more forums about how people got off of this poison. I think Lyme will have to be on the backburner--we'll probably get the Jernigan Borrelogen and CNS/PNS detox formulas in ACV.

Our biggest priority is getting her normal psychological functioning and personality back. I still can't believe what a nightmare we have descended into.

Glad to hear you are giving your sister the CNS/PNS formula. May I ask how much you are giving her? The reason I ask is that I have a friend who went to Hansa and her ammonia levels were so high that Dr. Jernigan gave her 30 times the recommended dose for a couple of weeks (I don't recommend you doing this without a doctor). Her neuro problems were really bad and her liver was shutting down from all the ammonia. My friend couldn't read, put words together (in her mind and when she tried to talk). She was so agitated she would take a branch and keep hitting a tree. She was a basket case and she has been cured (healed) for many years now.

Another supplement that would be good is Silphitrin (in the ACV base). You can read about that below:

If you haven't already, I'd like to direct you to our first topic, "New to Lyme?...start here" at the top of our list of threads.

There are lists of symptoms for respective infections, links about Lyme to educate., a section on "detoxing" which is an invaluable method of helping the body clear itself of the toxins created from treating Lyme, etc.

There is info on yeast overgrowth/candida, which is all to common with people dealing with Lyme issues, as well as helpful links for resources.
