I started taking it for lyme and then once I finished my lyme treatment, I couldn't stop taking the coq10 or my muscles would fatigue fast. I used to take the 100mg twice a day, and now I am down to taking it only once a day. When I no longer needed to take it twice a day, i was getting headaches from it - so listen to your body. Most times your body will give you a signal when you are taking too much of something. I never had the levels tested. But it is surely good for you. As a maintenance dose, I would not recommend taking more than 100mg two times a day.
