Bugs crawling sensation

I'm going crazy. I feel like bugs are crawling all over me, sometimes biting me. There is no evidence of bugs or bites. No tracking or
worse at night definitely not scabies. No new meds.
Can't afford my LLMD right now. Being treated by a Neurologist who is clueless.
Only treatment IVIG 28 grams every 4 weeksX5 days and a muscle relaxer.
Pain UNMANAGED NOW CREEPY CRAWLER SENSATION.
PLEASE HELP..... does anyone experience this?

I would bet big on parasites of some sort. The best test is a week or ten days of albendazole and ivermectin-this should give you a die off reaction.

I am really sorry you have to deal with this. It drove me crazy for a long time. I think it is neurologic not actually in the skin. Common to Lyme.

I think that mine has eased up somewhat with Buhner's Protocol. At least it is not nearly as bad.

Traveler advises Detox bath with Epsom salts and gentle skin brushing. Detox can always make a difference.

Hang in there. If you cannot see the LLMD have you considered an herbal protocol? There are a lot of good ones out there. You could start slowly with Japanese Knotweed, Cats Claw and Eleuthero. There are others you can add in as well. I wish you well.

I had this bug sensation too. It is maddening. I think now I am so freaked out about being bite again, that I feel any little thing and think it might be a tick.

I am definitely on high alert and am constantly swatting at someone that seems to be crawling on me.

I used to have it, too. Felt like the bugs were crawling just under my skin...it went away with my Lyme treatment.

It's really kind of a creepy sensation! I had what felt like a spider web wrapped around my lower leg for a few days just last week. I finally had to get a magnifier out to assure myself that there were no spider webs hanging onto my leg!

Detoxing and treatment has helped me before and I'm trusting it to help this time as well.

Sorry you are experiencing this (literally) nerve-wracking symptom. I think the other posters provided good input and it is very likely inflammation or something else aggravating your nerve endings. I guess it's better than nerve pain.

Along with the other remedies mentioned that I would definitely try, reducing inflammation might also help. Japanese Knotweed has helped me quite a bit.

Although there are other causes for the crawling feeling on your skin like a yeast/fungal issue so those are pretty easy to rule out. Do you have any other yeast/fungal symptoms? Does your skin itch at all?
