So, I want to buy Buhner's book on how to treat herbally. However, which one do I buy??? Does his updated version contain info about treating coinfections at the same time, and how to? I know that a lot of Lyme treatments will overlap with some co's, but does the book help with that?
Herbs, anybody have a good place they buy them? I'm looking on Amazon possibly, but am open to other sources. The Whole Foods stores around me are very dismal for supplements, it's about a 2 foot by 2 foot section in the store!
Onto detox, I purchased Chlorella and Curcumin, but when I was muscle tested it wasn't good. I have a very bad stomach and bad GI issues. I've tried lemon water, but that kills me. Tastes great, but feels awful in the gut and then screws me up for the rest of the day. I only squeeze a tiny slice, maybe 1/6th of the lemon, into a whole glass of water, but boy does it hurt.
I do the epsom salt baths with hydrogen peroxide and dry scrub before hand. Have been doing yoga when I can, and my nutritionist said that some of the supplements I am taking are helping my liver detox, though she admittedly knows very little about treating Lyme.
I am currently on: selenomethionine 200 mcg 3x/d, L-glutamine 500 mg 3x/d, L-tyrosine 500mg 3x/d, Raw vitamin D 5,000 IU 2x/d, Olive Leaf Extract 500 mg 1x/d, Raw iron 1 capsule 1x/d (includes 500 mcg B 12, 25mg Vit C, 400 mcg folate and 22mg iron. Also, 2 pills of probiotics (1 in AM and 1 in pm)
Any thoughts??? I also have betonite clay but am wondering how to take it??? I know that you shoulnd't take it certain amount of time before or after supplements, but I'm not sure how to.
