Talking out loud..
I had a pain flare last night, and increased headache, ear ache, and I was curious what might be the cause. I had added bidens yesterday for the dry cough, but I've also been experimenting with ways of raising my body temperature.
I found online that cinnamon, ginger, and fennel seeds are good for this and was really curious how my temperature would indeed raise a few notches a bit after eating the fennel seeds off the fennel plant in my garden and chomping down on some fresh organic ginger raw. I found this online http://buhnerhealinglyme.com/herbs/ginger-root-caused-herx/
Anything that induces a herx, if not too overwhelming, I am super, super happy. I am not sure if it is the ginger or the bidens which looks it might have some anti-bacterial properties.
Anyways - the herx reactions are tolerable - so I am going to continue experimenting in that the experimenting and getting feedback here has gotten me this far!

Hi Questing... btw - why the change in screen name?
If you were successful in raising your body temp - that can cause a herx right away. Lyme wants a cooler body. Yeast/fungus need a cooler environment. I'm not sure about
coinfections but I think it's a common feature amongst pathogens.
It's why I am MISERABLE in the summer... and why I've been extra yucky the past couple of days with a heat wave in my area.
Good luck with your experimenting! Keep us informed...

Maybe she's trying to get out of a record contract?
Came across this recently:
"Ginger is a great anti-parasitic and covers things with no other RX options."

Bidens is part of Buhner's latest Babesia protocol....
You probably know that Babesia is famous for causing head issues.
Glad you're making progress!

ooo... that would explain the increase in headaches CD! project, thanks for the Ginger link, and P I changed my screen name because I am going through an awesome shift on my PTSD work as well. After 22 years of hard arse work I am closing that chapter and the image of multifaceted is morphing to wholeness. Right now what is up is this questing body wholeness, and this new chapter in my life, trying to sort out why I didn't die from the brain aneurysm and why I am still here. LOVE this community.... yippee for slow but steady progress. Also, good note on raising body temperature! My intuition is prompting this, so I am going to follow through with this..
