I haven't tried A-P but am doing a bunch of other anti-parasitics now.
According to Brian Rosner the herbal anti-parasitics aren't as effective:
lymebook.com/ivermectin-albendazole-diethylcarbamazine-alinia-mimosa-pudicaAlbendazole crosses the blood brain barrier. It can be ordered cheaply from overseas pharmacies. Alinia is another one that will cross the BBB.
Ivermectin isn't active in the brain but it's quite effective otherwise:
Ivermectin, 'wonder drug' from Japan: the human use perspective.
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21321478I've realized that not treating parasites is a massive gap in a lot of the commonly used Lyme protocols, including Buhner's.
For herbal options there is the combination of Black Walnut, Clove, Wormwood. I did herx off this when I took it, but not as much as from the pharmaceutical ones.
There is almost always a thread on this forum around the time of the full moon. Well if you read about
parasites they are known to become active around this time. So attributing this to Borrelia might be incorrect.
