Allergist appt today, any questions I should ask?

Seeing an allergist for the first time today. Are there any questions I should ask, any specific testing to ask for?

Are yours seasonal? Mine are and I just have to have an alert on my calendar to start taking my allergy meds. I like homeopathic herbs for my allergies.

I had a whole drawer full of over the counter stuff I have tried for years. Nothing ever seemed to work.

Removing yourself from the allergen is the best, but I live in a forest and am surrounded by cedar trees - yep, allergic to cedar pollen.....

I know if I move to the ocean I will become allergic to seaweed. That is just the way the cookie crumbles. LOL

HA, I feel ya! Well, turns out I am allergic to sesame. And my cat :( cats and dogs actually.

I can't avoid him, we r buddies, and I've had cats all my life. They've always been outdoors until I met my husband and I was adopted into their indoor family! Now I know I gotta go back to vacuuming the whole house once a week, arg!.

I have my naturopath appt today too, I am going to ask about natural homeopathic ways to fight the allergies. I have tried the OTC stuff too, worked sometimes and sometimes not!

What about allergy shots? I don't know anything about them, but a co-worker of mine gets them - she says they work.
