Carla, I havn't dealt with it personally to the degree you have, but I have read about
it from the book you are reading.
Given your heavily neurological issues, I would highly recommend uncaria rhynchophylla as one of your early herbs. Given the amount of stress Buhner puts on this during neuroborreliosis would make me think you should consider it early. Just a thought!
I also found L-Tryptophan really helped me reduce the amount of spinal inflammation and "brain burning sensations", and reduced the severity and intensity of the full body twitches as I call them. It also really helped me sleep better. I only did a short trial of it to see so I'm not sure of the requirements behind long term use.
