Please remember to prepare for this holiday.

Stress adds to the symptoms list. So stay as stress free as you possibly can.

Do not do it all! Man or woman – ask for help. This does not mean you are incapable forever, just take the help.

Remember to hydrate. Time can slip away at functions and suddenly you have forgotten to drink enough water. Drink before you are thirsty.

It is okay to step back from the “stimulation’ by taking a break. A nice walk outside? If the conversation gets heated, excuse yourself – fake having to go to the bathroom, anything to get away from the stressful scene.

Take care of you because you are sick and you do not want to be sicker.

Thank you for the reminder to take it easy! The holidays can get stressful.

I wish that strawberry margaritas were part of Lyme diet!

Think about it, strawberries - vitamin C = good for you. Ice = keeps you hydrated and detox. And alcohol = for no worries and fun! :)

In all seriousness, I hope that you and everyone have a safe and nice 4th of July weekend!

LB - I love strawberry margaritas. I used to make them along with mango/peach bellinis.

As for the margarita - Having just one and I bet I would be asleep. LOL

Happy 4th. I'm going to take in several movies and have hubby cook on the grill. Very low stress!!!!!!

Very nice, Krimpet!! We have a family reunion every year for the 4th of July, so I will have a houseful. I have a large insulated mug that I stick a straw in and carry ice water around with me all day and I just keep sipping at it every time I think of it. I can usually take in more than enough water by doing this.

And I'm still working on delegating of chores, but I'm getting there!! LOL!
