Tingling, tickly, itchy sensation under skin all over body

Hi I wanted to post something my wife is dealing with it started almost a week ago. In the evening she's been getting this tingling, tickly, itchy sensation under her skin pretty much all over her body except her butt and privates. It's not the skin but underneath. Note she doesn't have lyme or any co-infections she's relatively healthy. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I had the feeling of bugs crawling on me. It was horrible. I was swatting at things all day long.

One of the first Lyme symptoms I had was hypersensitive skin that was painful to the touch in the area around my waistline and lower back (I was bitten just above the hip).

I was itching all over till I lowered my Candida load with diflucan. But that was "on" my skin, not under.
