In general I've been somewhat skeptical of all the "positive vibe the Lyme away" types of healing approaches.
My sister thinks that if I just come and live on a beach in Bali I'll somehow magically get better. I already live in one of the "Happiest Cities in America" and sometimes all the happiness around me just makes me feel sicker.
In many ways I think the negative mental states are just the result of herxing. Once a herx subsides I feel pretty good and reasonably positive.
But I am starting to try to focus on the psychological aspects that might help me to heal. Not sure if I should have waited until the end of treatment for this but whatever. I seem to be doing everything backwards anyway (treating parasites last, etc).
I bought this book the other day and have just started it so can't really recommend it or not. But it does look promising:
