I'm starting to understand some of the motivation behind the Zika panic...

according to a group of Argentinian physicians in towns sprayed with a Monsanto pesticide that was aimed to control spread of mosquito larvae in drinking water, previous Zika outbreaks did not cause microencephaly...

Excerpt:
"“Previous Zika epidemics did not cause birth defects in newborns, despite infecting 75 percent of the population in those countries,” the paper said. “Also, in other countries such as Colombia there are no records of microcephaly; however, there are plenty of Zika cases.”"

Brazilian Ministry of Health introduced pyriproxyfen to drinking-water reservoirs, where proliferation of Zika infected mosquitos is high.

Excerpt:
“Malformations detected in thousands of children from pregnant women living in areas where the Brazilian state added pyriproxyfen to drinking water is not a coincidence, even though the Ministry of Health places a direct blame on Zika virus for this damage, while trying to ignore its responsibility and ruling out the hypothesis of direct and cumulative chemical damage caused by years of endocrine and immunological disruption of the a acted population,”" this group of MDs said.

#1 is suspicious right away--if testing had been done on fetuses, this might be more relevant (but who is going to test fetuses?)

#2 I think WHO did finally establish a direct link but boy, did that come under considerable pressure...

The rest of the argument is pretty strong but it's very difficult to tell what is happening... only time will tell but by then, they'll have vaccines.

And... it just dawned on me that this might have already been a big topic here but I was MIA last Jan & Feb and missed it all. It's resurfacing now because of how much funding Zika is getting, despite how endemic lyme as become.

This is what upsets me the most. We have, by many estimations, up to 500,000 new cases of Lyme being diagnosed yearly now - more than AIDS and breast cancer combined! Yet, the amount of funding that Lyme receives is ridiculously low. Here is a chart so you can see the different spending amounts:

That is very interesting information about why Zika is now causing microencephaly in babies. That it's because of pyripoxyfen ( pesticides) added to their drinking water to control the spread of mosquito larvae. This is Terrifying!!!!

Thank you for sharing the link about funding for different types of diseases. This makes my blood boil!!!! Maybe if they would concentrate more on Lyme disease, they could get rid of the money needed to fund 75% of the other diseases on this list!!! I am sure Big Pharma would throw a tantrum!! Ugh!!!!

How many people do they even have "working" on Lyme disease? Doesn't seem like they are overly exerting themselves about the Lyme disease Crisis!!!

P- I had already seen that article, and yet it still raises disgust in me! There are many examples of the CDC and other "authorities" that have completely ignored and even have tried to cover up this epidemic and technically, it's a pandemic since it's world wide.

Little bear, have you seen the articles about "Lyme Corps"? That will REALLY make your blood boil if you are like me! The CDC is recruiting certain people to call and make sure that doctors and hospitals are following the outdated IDSA protocols for treating Lyme - and they have been removed from the NGC (National Guidelines Clearinghouse)!! The ILADS protocols are listed on the NGC, and those are ignored!!

It doesn't shock me a bit the chemicals are shown to cause the problems.

It's surprises me more that someone actually made a connection between the two LOL

Mosquitos and virus have been around as long as we have, if they caused all of these so called dangerous diseases we would have died out eons ago.

Hi Traveler!-

Thank you for the articles about"Lyme corps"! The last link didn't connect, so I looked it up.

So, pretty much, the CDC is sending out their "Girl Scouts" (Lyme Corps) with out dated and useless knowledge and information about Lyme disease and "educating" the public and doctors. FANTASTIC!! Way to go CDC!!

Of course, I am being sarcastic about how wonderful the CDC is!! :)

When I got diagnosed with Igenex and CDC positive for Lyme disease, my doctor said that I might get a call from the CDC. That they will ask questions about my symptoms, how long I have had it , and where I might have contracted it (example: what state or county).

I got diagnosed February 2015! And still have not received any phone call. It's not like I am holding my breath waiting. But who knows if I am even acknowledged as one of the 300,000 people who contract Lyme disease yearly?

This is Absolutely Ridiculous!!

Hey Traveler, maybe you should get a job for the CDC and put them All to Shame! Lol!!! :)
