Just got some blood work back. My GP, bless his heart, is really trying to understand Lyme and cos, and admits that there is just so much the medical community doesn't understand. Anyway, he orders the blood work so I am thankful.
Anyway, my question. After reading Pirouette's post from a couple months ago, and hopefully I am not too confused about what was written, that elevated EBV titres might be indicative of an active infection. is EBV getting in the way of my healing?
Here are some of the results:
EBV AB VCA, IGG - 304.0 (range - 0.0-17.9 U/mL)
EBV NUCL AG IGG - 104.0 (range - 0.0-17.9 U/mL)
My GP says not much can be done since I guess he believes it is a past infection. MY naturopath (LLMD) wants to continue treating the Lyme for another month once I finish my course of homeopathic treatment AND THEN focus on the EBV. Does this make sense, or is the EBV getting in the way of healing from Lyme? Is there anyway of telling?
All these numbers are actually down from testing done in January. Not sure if that makes a difference.
Sorry if I am all over the place, my head isn't quite right.
