And from another alleged crony of Auwaerter:
This syndrome is not fatal, but it is life-altering," says Aucott.
Really? What about
the 3 sudden cardiac deaths (in their 20's & 30's, 2013). What about
the many, many dying from Alzheimer's, the slow death being endured by so many, the list goes on & on.

And the new LD Ctr promoting-- how do I love thee, let me count the ways! Oh, yes-I LOVE the study name-SLICE--like take a good old' slice outa life! Â So cleverly" using the Lyme/lime model/theme.
Or do I love you because you offer a "longitudinal" study (more years, more funding, more "credibility"--the face of it masquerading concern while working out who will reap [$] the rewards of new testing & vax?).
Or do I love thee simply from your summing up your "exciting undertaking." Exciting??! Â
Well, I suppose in a sado-masochistic way, it is truly a BIG SLICE of EXCITING!
Perhaps a better phrasing might have been TOO many ailing children, people in their prime of life, families, pets, animals with the afflicted population growing, it is NOW time for help, compassion & true healing!
From the "Slice" site  below-(*note for this study one must be identified as acute & untreated...so anyone having ANY treatment, even under dosing with abx, does not qualify for this "study").
Study of Lyme disease Immunology and Clinical Events
"For the study, we are recruiting 100 patients with acute, untreated Lyme disease who will be treated and followed for two years...
"SLICE holds promise for breakthroughs in the way we understand the chronic impact of Lyme disease and the first steps towards treatments to restore the health of those individuals who desperately need our help. It is an exciting undertaking..."
