Amazing (to me) Lyme Coincidence

Bill and I finally told two of our best friends (a married couple) that I have Lyme disease and that Bill probably has it. And when they asked about symptoms, I started describing the bull's eye rash, and the husband said, "Look at this." And he showed us three bull's eye rashes at his waist line.

He didn't remember having a recent insect bite, but these three, quarter-sized red circles surely looked like Lyme to me. The centers were clear in two of them, and the third was solid red.

Our friend sent pictures of the rash to his son, who is an MD. But he didn't reach him while we were together.

We gave our friend the name of our LLMD, the address of this board and information about Igenex. Can y'all think of something else we could have done to help him?

Here's something I'm curious about. Our friend is from NY. Suppose he was infected years ago and that the Lyme was dormant for years. Is it possible the bull's eye rash would show up years later in a time of stress? Or does the rash mean he has recently been bitten?

I did worry about his son not knowing much about Lyme. Our friend doesn't feel at all sick, but his wife isn't well, and he is under stress because of her illness.

While there have been no studies done to back this up, the almost every Lyme forum has accounts of people having the bulls eye rash show up during herxing or times of stress. So, it could be a new infection, or an older one as far as I have seen. Also, Dr. Jones (a famous pediatric Lyme doctor) has this on his site:
". Does a "bulls-eye" rash go away without treatment?

A Lyme rash (ECM) will often disappear on its own without treatment, but it may 
linger for quite some time. It may reappear later as a single rash or emerge as multiple rashes."

Oh dear...that's too bad...but, it's best you keep the door open...and they will feel comfortable coming to you when he gets more symptoms.
