Is it true that our temps can run low? I checked mine and it was 96.1. I bought a thermometer because I want to see if it changes when I feel I am herxing.

shanna when I was really sick with lyme I felt that I was always running a temperature and when I took it, it was normal.
then I felt like I was cold and freezing to the bone and took my temp and I was normal again.
But my normal has always been 97.2.
I swear that lyme messed with my body thermostat because I am not good with temps now - hot or cold

My new normal temp is 96-97.5. I had told the LLMD that I have a low body temp, and he had me take my temp first thing in the AM for a month. Seems he didn't realize that my temp is that range at midnight or noon, as well as 1st thing in the AM.

Low temps like that can be a sign of being hypothyroid. When was the last time you had a thyroid test done checking not only the TSH, but T3 and T4 values as well?
