I stopped abx two weeks when my ALT was at 60, it has since raised up to 70.

I've been taking the following:

Milk thistle
ALA alpha lipoid acid
drinking lots of water
Vit c
apo hepat

Any other suggestions to help bring my ALT level down?

My liver enzymes rose when I was treating lyme only for 9 1/2 months...
Stopped antibiotics for 2 1/2 months...took apo hepat.

Restarted and treated bartonella with mino and rifampin...and my liver enzymes continued to drop...and have stayed in range ever since.

I am due to check them again (and haven't tested them in a couple of months).

Your ALT are in range, though...or do you have different reference ranges?

I too got elevated ALT/AST levels while on Zith/Rif/Doxy for Bart. Stopped abx for a few weeks and retested... and it went up even higher. I then jumped into a planned IV Rocephin and levels declined back to within normal. Go figure.

70 is not that high to have major concerns, and I have read that Bart can mess with AST/ALT levels on its own, and sometimes its the fault of the lab, so there's not a lot of consistency.

Your detox routine looks good. Maybe add some Chlorella

You're right - I was thinking Alkaline Phosphate....sorry!

My ALT got to 77. Range was <50

My GP told me it can go 3X the amount before she'd be concerned.
But my LLND had me take a break at that level.

And how much are your WBC now?
