New info about Stevia. I have received some good bartonella info from this website in the past. It sucks you have to pay though.

Ugh!! I hate that!

I don't suppose it makes sense to get angry about someone making money off of life saving information, Drs. do that all the time.

It still doesn't seem right that people who need the information because they can't afford a LLMD, can't get this either.

I didn't check to see how much it is though, it startled me when the introduction ended so quickly.

One thing stood out, that I wanted to learn more of, was his statement that Magnesium and Calcium and needed (to form/maintain?) the biofilms, and I am taking a strong supplement of that for my osteoporosis.

I am interested in reading what he had to say about the Stevia because I bought a live plant of it. I've read a couple other articles but don't remember if anything was said about the biofilm link.

The gyst was he's incorporating but doesn't know if it's doing anything. My doctor told me to put 20 drops of nutramedix stevia in water 2x a day. I figured it won't hurt to try. I did it for awhile when the Eva Sapi study came out so it's not the first time I've tried it.

I'm wondering how much of that "new" and "paid for" information is different than the other studies and articles regarding the use of stevia in fighting Lyme.

I'm just leery when I visit a website and they give you a little teaser and then ask for money to continue reading.

He says 5 drops 1-2 times (nutramedix) a day but my doc (dr. H in NY - his NP) , said 20 drops. Also Dr. M.R starts the stevia 6-9 months after treatment. And it sounds like he only uses if treatment is slow or not working.

I have started giving it to my kids 1x a day @ 10 drops. They test positive for Lyme but are primarily asymptomatic.

I think you could probably go even higher than 20 drops. Thanks for the info. Did you experience any herx when you started stevia? Sorry to hear that your kids test positive also.

Without reading it...I am so lyme brain and have a hard time reading things like that.

I remember reading that it can't be the Stevia you use in drinks. Has anyone else seen this and has anyone actually had any results from stevia? I do use it in my drinks.

I am also interested in getting infos about stevia for lyme. k07, did the stevia extract work for you? Did you experience anything taking it? How long have you tried to take it? Pros/cons?

I've contacted Eva Sapi at that time when the study came out. She did not give me specific answer for the question: which brand was Stevia A, but she mentioned a few times the nutramedix stevia extract in her mail, so I guess, this was the most effective one.

I never noticed any reaction one way or another. I'm pretty certain the brand used in the study was Nutramedix Stevia.

It's only $2.99? Boy am I embarrassed. Other places I've gone for detailed info were selling their books that were much pricier, so I didn't even go further to find out.

That's reasonable enough if he offers something more definitive than other articles out there.
