Hi everyone. I'm fairly new to this journey and I have questions. So, I have been wondering for a while if I had lyme disease. It all started one day in March of this year when I woke with a stiff neck, lightheaded, felt out of my body, low grade fever, heart palpitations, times where I'd shoot up out of bed with my heart pounding, my head was constantly throbbing. I'm sure there's more but those are the main ones. Anyways, ive had heart palpitations for a couple of years now but my doctors just kept saying it was anxiety. I finally convinced them to do an echocardiogram and stress test for my heart in may and June and it was found that I have mild hypokinesia and mild tricuspid regurgitation but nothing significant according to them. I also had a brain mri and it found a maxillary retention cyst and a possible partial aqueduct stenosis that I have to have a neurosurgeon look at to rule it out. My mri also said it appears that I had a possible infection or hemmorage at one point. My question is, could these problems all be because of lyme? In July, I convinced my doctors to order a western blot test and 3 bands were positive...23 kda, 66, and 93 kdao. Since I didn't have enough bands positive,,they said I don't have lyme disease. However, my local health food store says I do based off those results and now I'm on an herbal lyme kill. I guess I'm looking for advice, experiences, similar stories, and is,my health food store correct? Sorry this was longer! Glad to meet others like myself! Also, I believe I have pots syndrome because of lyme. My heart rate shoots up 30 bpm or more when I stand. Btw, I'm 28, female from Illinois.
