Help rash with herx

Has anyone ever had a rash with their Herx? I am getting flat red rash on my abdomen and legs. What could it be/should I be worried? I see neurologist Friday morning.

Please remind me - are you on abx?

Does the rash itch or burn? Are you having any breathing issues? These wiuld suggest a possible allergic reaction to abx or other drugs, herbs.

If the rash is herx-related (both Lyme and Bart can produce weird, recurring rashes) could just be that the treatment is stirring up the infection, which triggers a heightened immune response. Could be your skin ( your largest detox organ) can't detox quickly enough...

I'd increase dry rubs and detox soaks a bit - starting very slow - see if that helps.

Can you take a picture of it and post it? If not, describe it in the best detail you can provide. There are many rashes that are "normal" to have when you have these infections.

Well, I have red spots on my arms which are flat, and red circular areas on my abdomen. Sorry, not technical enough to take and post a picture. I was taking autographs and I read that can give you rash. I don't think that's what it is though. I had this same rash really bad when I took levaquin. I always could take that drug in the past though. I am thinking it's the bugs or lyme. I took an Epsom salt bath which did help. Do you think it's the Lyme?
