A deviated septum can cause post nasal drip.
I have had it for years and mine is the weather is too dry, or the weather is too wet, there are too many pollens, Did I just walk through the cleaning section of the grocery store?, or am I in line behind someone that put on a whole bottle of cologne?
It does not take much for me to be sinus sensitive. And hubby says I have the nose of a blood hound. I definitely can tell you if someone is smoking a cigarette or if they wash their clothes with Tide laundry soap. urgh.
I find most smells very offensive and I have a scent free home because of my issues.
But, I have read of many getting lyme and then getting post nasal drip - and sometimes this is fungal or yeast caused......
So I call this one a draw and I wonder how a doc would figure it out. My money is he says you need surgery to fix it (the septum, and get him a new car).
