I have been cogitating about how to both increase the oxygen in my blood as well as getting my body temperature up. I came across a link on another board to a research article that talks about what temperature spirochetes die. 105 degrees fahrenheit.

I've been going to the sauna 5x a week at the gym staying in the sauna for 10 minute stretches.

Today I went and took my thermometer. Didn't raise much in the hot tub. Then I went into the sauna. It took 14 minutes to get my temperature to 105 degrees - ugh... hard to get here!

I think it might be safer to do this at home and found this article on how to get your body up to 105 at home.

When I got back to the office I was curious and googled fever therapy and lyme and found that there is a place in Germany that treats lyme patients.

I don't have resources to go to Germany...

I also realized I don't have resources for ozone therapy.

I can manage nutrition and herbs, for now.

I can manage the gym membership for the sauna, do hot baths at home.

So..

Nutrition, herbs, and I am going to work at getting my body temperature up past 105 degrees safely.

Questing, please be careful, I don't know a whole lot, but raising your body temp that high seems dangerous. Generally in a sauna you aren't supposed to let it get over 102.

There are variables that would make your readings inaccurate, and put you in a serious medical emergency.

I personally have become hallucinogenic at internal temperatures over 104.

Yes - my sense is to be really careful. It is good to know what the limit is. At 10 minutes it is around 102. It was only at 105 for one minute max. I am going to try the bathtub way next. I feel SOOOO good, 2 hours after the sauna, but I did feel a bit queasy getting out and want to do more research. At least I know now... 10 minutes... good for sweating detoxing. If I want to get it up a bit higher... 14 minutes max. One should drink a ton of water before, and after, of course. Who knows how accurate my thermometer was in the sauna as well.

I did not do well with the hot. My favorite was the cold. It took all the inflammation right away. My headaches were gone. Joints felt awesome.

I still barely turn on the hot in my shower. I have a whole new routine.

Hot was always my norm. But with lyme, hot made me melt into the floor......

I want to echo the cautions here. To have the body up at 105 any real length of time can be dangerous, so do please be very careful!!!

Hydrating like you said is also necessary.

Actually, hallucinations wasn't the word I wanted to say, and I still can't think of it, but incoherent comes very close.

Also, I would imagine the herx reaction might be massive and dangerous too.

I can see using heat therapy on one isolated body area at a time, but to subject the entire body at once, particularly in an already weakened condition....but you know your body better than anyone.
