Traveler and Mustardseed, this doesn't bother your stomach? And can you get the same benefit from a powder as from a tincture? I thought I had heard that the tincture is better.
I know you didn't ask me but I have an answer ;)
Firstly, Yogi Tea bothered my stomach as did chai tea. However, I'm able to take Japanese Knotweed, Cordyceps and Lion's Mane powder mixed with my tinctures in a little water and have been fine.
Buhner states that tinctures are the most potent form of plant medicine.
However, due to their different actions and how the body processes them, he does have preferences with certain forms of certain herbs and they are listed within the various protocols outlined in his books.
It was only quite recently that I discovered he prefers Japanese Knotweed powder for Lyme...yet he recommends tincture in his new Bart protocol.
I know he recommends fresh Houttuynia tincture as well as fresh Bidens tincture.
As Buhner emphasizes, herbs can get the job done no matter what form you use as long as they are quality herbs.....it's all about
listening to your body and finding what works for you.
