Hi, NEW HERE :)
like some, I spent more that a decade before finding out I had lyme, but happy to put a name to this and get to work.
I'm in Dallas, so a little bit frustrated at not finding a local LLMD. my regular doc reluctantly agreed to 21 days of doxy, he didn't even know how to read my Igenex report..
I'm sure I will find a doc, and can pack up and move if need be. I'm interested in a pulsed high dose IV approach given I think I have Neuro. I like the studies coming out with 3 week cycles.
I previously thought I had adrenal fatigue and was on a path to improve there so I have liposomal C, and had taken IV C + Gluthatione which helps.
My worst symptons,
Cognitive issues, and cognitive fatigue by early afternoon.
fatigue
mild dizziness 100% of the time
tinnitus
I'm reading Buhner's book, and I'm on board with his approach, but being new to Herbs and without having serious antibiotics yet, I am a little reluctant to start. I had already purchased Banderol/Samiento before picking up Buhner so I figured it couldn't hurt so started them and I'm at 8 drops x2d feeling a little better.
Here's what's core for me at the moment., until I start Buhner and / or get abx:
1) Undenatured protein shake (2 x d) with
1/4 tsp D-Ribose
1/2 tsp Mucuna Pruriens (Increases Dopamine)
1/4 tsp L-theanine
1/2 tsp Maca (low DHEA/T)
The mucuna/theanine combo helps my fog and energy, I only take that in the morning.
1mg NAC + 2g C 2 x d
1.5mg Tryptopan
8 drops Samento (increasing daily to 30)
8 drops Banderol (Increasing to 30)
10mg melotonin (before bed time)
Milk Thristle .
In addition to the supplements/herbals I started on a Keto diet (low carb, hi fat, med protein) and I'm eating liver twice a week.
I'm also thinking in trying Acupuncture if I find a good practitioner, aiming to improve/strengthen my Immune system.
I 'd appreciate your perspective on my approach and where does one get all these herbs in the Buhner protocol? I found montana pharmacy.
Anything specific that can help with tinnitus?
Thanks and sorry for the long post. :)
