Lab Corp HLA DR by PCR

Can anyone explain to me what the Lab Corp HLA DR by PCR test is looking for? I am wondering if anyone has had this testing and if the results made a difference in treatment.

It looks like I will have to pay out of pocket for this test and would like to understand it and its usefulness before investing in this test.

I've not had the testing, but I know that with PCR testing, they are looking for pieces of the bacteria's DNA - not as easy to find as one might think, but it has gotten some people the positive test they needed.

The main reason we need a positive test is either for insurance purposes, or for our own peace of mind usually.

If you're paying out of pocket - maybe you should price out the Igenex one...see if its comparable.

If it piece of mind to treat ..then you can see the spirochettes at 1000x under regular or darkfield microscope

This test is not a PCR for spiros. It is a genetic test for me. I was unclear on it but thought it had somethin to do with weather I had problems with autoimmunity and lyme or my ability to detoxify. Am not sure. Lab Corp is the one that does it. Just was wondering if anyone familiar with this.

Isn't that the genetic testing for mold? Believe it's how well you detox mold?

Yes, this is a genetic test of sorts. Has nothing to do with PCR lyme testing.

Coincidentaly, I made a post with a info link about this this morning.
