Most herbal treatments aren't as hard on the bacteria/protozoa, but help the body deal with the effects (inflammation, etc.) while more slowly attacking the bacteria/protozoa. It's more of a "sneak attack" - as Artermix was describing.

Sida acuta is giving me a rough time just at a few drops. These are herxes from hell!
I think my LLMD would have killed me if i went on her abx plan of minocycline, zithromax, tinidazole, sida acuta, and artemisinin. I'm taking 3-4 drops of Sida 3 times a day and waking up with panic attacks, symptoms of brain demyelination, and what i suspect is gallbladder pain. These herbs are hardcore if you hit it right. I'm so glad I opted out of her plan. A full dose of all of those?
