How long it takes for Doxy to start it effect in lyme

Could you give us a little information about her? Did she have a tick bite? Did she have a bullseye rash? Have you had her tested?

Also are you seeing a LLMD (Lyme literate medical doctor?)

The reason I ask is that 100 mg of Doxy for 10 days is not enough. I am not taking Doxy but those who do generally say that it takes 200 mg. and that it needs to be taken much longer. Sometimes for months depending on the severity and longevity of symptoms.

What are her symptoms? It is a good rule of thumb to treat for 2 months beyond any symptoms.
