I have recently cleaned up my diet a lot so I'll share with you what I've been eating.
I have a coffee with no sugar, a splash or milk or almond milk.
I will make a Green smoothie, and if I don't have that for breakfast I'll have some eggs/sausage or something like that. Most days it is a green smoothie that has spinach, avocado, frozen fruit and water.
Lunch, I try to do meat and vegetables, or sweet potato (leftover dinner from the previous night). Another good lunch idea is a cold plate, you could do some cold meats, a veggie salad, a hard boiled egg. Or make a big salad, or soup.
Dinner I will do a stir fry with meat, veggies and rice. Or I'll bake chicken thighs or drumsticks with salt, garlic powder, pepper and paprika and olive oil. They are so good.
Another good one (if you are trying for low carb low sugar) I like to do is lettuce wraps, I make mine with stir fried peppers, onions, chicken and peanuts. I do make a teriyaki sauce so that has some sugar to it but you could modify it.
I think you can't go wrong with a good stir fry because you are getting in a lot of colorful vegetables and good protein, but still with a lot of flavor if you use ginger and garlic :)
