Hello! Have any of my fellow lyme warriors been told they, too, have Protomyxzoa? Also, what are your thoughts on muscle testing using 3 people? I have had "direct" muscle testing in the past, whereby the practitioner uses my own arm for testing, but this muscle testing I had yesterday seemed like a joke: I was lying down, doc's assistant had one hand on my leg with her other arm stretched out and doc was holding up different vials of stuff - one @ a time while pressing down on the Assistant's arm for a "reading"......Wouldn't the assistant's energy get in the way of an accurate "reading?" Ugh....what we get ourselves into....and then we pay through the nose....

I do think muscle testing is something I can't scoff at because I have seen it ring true. But, I have seen it ring false. So I am torn on it.

However, your assessment seems right on with her being in between you.

Did they get you to buy anything? And did they suggest another visit to see how you are doing?

HEY PeteZA! Hope you doing well these days and Thanks for replying - yes, I paid large- I think - amount for that kind of testing, was given a lengthy treatment plan for near future which includes removing 1/2 pint of blood from arm and putting it through UV light then recirculating it back into the body.

No offense when I say this but...this stuff scares me! I just cant believe in muscle testing. I want to do whatever possible to heal myself, but some of the things I read people do absolutely terrifies me. Again, no offense I hope. Wish you the best!

Trader758 - I hear ya - I used to have a very high pain threshold and have tried many a weird thing - was desperate, but the older I get and the longer I am on this fuzzin Lyme journey, the less pain I am willing to tolerate now.....I have decided not to go back there and keep searching for something that I feel confident about and willing to try out. I really appreciate your input Trader - I hope you are having better days these days....
PeteZA - leeches - HA! yeah, right?! Basically, I think he wants to remove all my blood and UV light it - not all @once.......yeah, creepy....anyway, not been well PeteZA- hence flying under the radar for a while here.....I need to keep looking for that magic bullet/ ingredients/ guru....to help get things into remission here....I know it's out there SOMEWHERE....Peace my friends.

Sounds like you are speaking about Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation-which is used in many clinics. I dothis along with ozone. You can google many stories about this.
Muscle testing-most docs just give you meds and suppletments without any testing so I always figure its
safer to test but next had this three way testing

I believe in muscle testing but only by those that know how to do it. I have had it done accurately several times. Don't mean to sound pessimistic but there is no way it could work through a third body! Crazy town. I also wouldn't do the blood thing but would love to read some links - maybe one day I will. I know people who have done leeches and swear by them. I'm not doing that either. While I want to heal I am anchored down by part skepticism and the other part chicken.

Huddie - Thank you for your input! I totally agree with you! I, too, have had muscle testing, way back in the late seventies, but it was a one-on-one thing. What I experienced on Friday just seemed wrong - as it was going on, I just kept thinking about the "extra" energy involved and that he should be using MY arm - not the assistant's for a correct reading......I am still trying to make sense of it all and then what I also didn't like was the whispering between the two and giggling on/off while the testing was being done. Just felt like it was all an expensive joke.

Needhelp - go onto the forum and read the post on "do you lymies drink any caffeine' there is a discussion about muscle testing you may find useful. Sorry they laughed at you. Sounds very unprofessional. Hope it didn't cost a boatload.

Needhelp - I'm pretty sure I've got protomyxzoa based on symptoms. I've been battling it with Rife and antiparasitics, tinidazole.

A lot of people go off of Dr. C's symptoms/protocol for it: protomyxzoa.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Protomyxzoa_rheumatica.pdf

I'm not sure how effective UVBI would be for eradicating it. It is a red blood cell parasite like Babesia so you'd kill whatever is floating around. However part of it's lifecycle is outside of the cell and it produces a lot of biofilm. So you'd likely need something else to attack the colonies.

There is a Facebook group dedicated to it that has some more info.

Project - Thank You so much for sharing and for the link! I have pretty much all those symptoms! Been on ABAB and Abart -BW formulations for over two yrs., for Lyme, but as of Friday, new Doc I saw said I have this "new" parasite, as well. Sounds like Beyond Balance product works a lot better on this parasite than BW formulations. Tell me, if you can, what frequency are you using for this Protomyxzoa? When and how were you diagnosed with this parasite, Project? Thanks again for your input!

I just wanted to agree with the goofiness about a 3rd person involved with the muscle testing - and with all their whispering and giggling, I'm sure that didn't help, as it meant they were distracted by something they found funny. When I do my own muscle testing, I have to clear my mind - even if it is funny.

I'm sorry that you ended up there. Many of us, in our desperate search for healing, can find ourselves being in a "unusual" situation, shall we say. We try to keep an open mind and some people see that as an opportunity to take advantage of us. This is their bad, not ours - as long as we learn our lesson and not allow them to take advantage of us again and again.

Needhelp - I posted about my suspected protomyxzoa discovery a few months back, the Rife frequencies I use are somewhere in the thread: www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=30&m=3650148

Mostly been using pharmaceutical antiparasitics along with Golden Thread, Mimosa Pudica and Artemisinin. Haven't tried Beyond Balance.

Everything suggests that this bug is very difficult to completely eradicate. I'm not sure of the accuracy of muscle testing and it probably wouldn't hurt to try to see how you react to anti-parasitics. For me they cause flares in bone pain where it seems proto likes to hide. Also teeth pain seems to point to proto as opposed to Babesia.
