IV

I just talked to a girl who started IV. She will do it for 30 days and it's day 10 for her and her said she is feeling almost normal. She was very sick.... anyone here tried the IV antibiotics?

what are the antibiotics, and how much is it costing you?

I'm on day 21. I have had some improvement, but on any given day I'm only 40-65%. But hey, at least I can do the dishes, cook, clean, and walk the dog now.

Piro had a really good thread on this ..i got lucky not so lucky...i am pulsing 2g roceph and zith.i have a port like piro they give to chemo patients ..alt doc ordered insurance covered ..i get meds with supplies (flushes ,huber needles ,and heparin for like 260 a week from infuserve ..the home pump ball can be done on the road ..walking etc ..i expected fireworks ...it helped ..more energy ..stops joint pain daysbim infusing ..but i cut down from 4 days to 3 to 2 for cost and candida ...also doing bvt iv silver ,herbs and gunna start more orals ..was on alinia .i think is slowed the muscle wasting and the twitching almost stopped ..can you get a picc? I know some body who does butterfly needles3x a week with orals and is making gains ...i hear it just suppresses bart .my acne is still here so it aint that strong ..oil of oregano got that so idk...i may just have to live on this ?!

Your reaction to going off abx usually depends on how far you are along in minimizing the bacterial load and how well you're detoxing, whether or not you have other coinfections ---basically, whether or not you're ready to stop abx. LLMDs generally like to keep you on abx and herbs for 2 months after your symptoms cease. Stopping early will likely bring back the symptoms you started with.

And sometimes it causes a huge in the infection. You just never know. If I were you, I should explore some herbal antimicrobials to help you bridge between MDs. That way you don't go without any coverage.

Instead of a new thread I'll ask in here...

I conclude IV treatment in 8 days. I will then be off ABX for approx 3 weeks. What is one to expect when stopping abx after having been on them for 60 days straight? Although not by design it sounds like I'll be doing what others do in pulsing.

But how do most feel when coming off the abx? Symptoms return stronger? I'm sure immune system will work

I was off abx for 2 1/2 months after treating with abx for Lyme for about 10 months. (I wasn't symptom free - the break was due to rising liver enzymes)

At about the two month mark, I started to get tingling on my scalp - that was previously gone. There may have been one or two more - can't remember.

waterbee, before Rocephin IV and your improvement, did you take any oral abx?
